We turn 18 weeks tomorrow. Very exciting. Went to see new doc and he was great. Very nice man and seemed very caring. He told us by our next visit on June 17th, we should be able to find out the sex of the baby. That is if it's cooperating. Best thing about this last visit is the fact that they busted out the measuring tape...THAT MEANS MY BELLY IS GROWING. Now THAT is exciting.

Girl without a colon
I fear...many times during the day, that baby .......................................
will never get a good nights sleep..LOL.
I have switched docs. The change has pushed my next appointment until the 27th. I'll be almost 18 weeks at that time, but I don't know if I'll have the chance to find out the sex of the baby. I'd like to know. I hate not knowing things...just ask my husband.
In the meantime, I'm finally in maternity clothes. Thanks to the generosity of my mother, sister and grandmother, I should be looking pretty snazzy during this pregnancy. Let me stress again how much I love maternity jeans. Soooo comfy.
I received one of my first baby presents last weekend from Jeff and Stacie. I registered for most everything online, so I've not seen it in person. One present, a set of towels and washcloths for baby, was so cute and colorful. They set my imagination on fire with thoughts of what baby would look like, what baby would smell like, the smoothness of it's skin. What a long wait for this ultimate surprise. I still have to pinch myself from time to time to remind myself that all of this is real.

I think I feel the baby
It may be too early...but I'm convinced that I feel the baby moving. It's like a tapping in my belly. Every now and then when I'm sitting very still, I can feel this tap..tap. I say we just call it a baby kick. :) For those of you who have asked...I keep forgetting to post it, but I'm due October 30th. Doc says that they usually do C-sections 10 days before, so that would put me delivering aroung the 20th.
P.S. Bought some maternity clothes...gotta love these big elastic bands. Can I wear these after the pregnancy?!?!?

Look at our deals!!
Just had to share. We went yard sailing this past Saturday and found the most phenomenal deals on baby gear. All of this: Graco travel system, matching 6 speed swing, matching pack and play, as well as a Boppy and an Eddie Bauer blanket in a bag.....for a whopping $50. I think Michael wins for most successful haggler. Everything at retail value added up to $545.00. Whoohoo!
